The AAOO Manifesto

From November 2024 to March 2025, AAOO convened a working group of seven diverse individuals from Africa and Asia to create the initial draft of the Manifesto.

This document serves both as an advocacy statement and a practical guide, articulating a value-based methodology for centering communities in the process of building generative AI. It was officially launched at the Culture Summit in Abu Dhabi in April 2025.
