AAOO Signs MoU with Melon Rouge Agency

Delighted to announce that we have officially signed an MoU of collaboration with Melon Rouge Agency for the next six months! We worked closely with MRA in Q4 2025 particularly on our pilot project. They provided valuable perspective around human-centered design and research, and have allowed us to work towards actualizing our aim of centering communities in all aspects of the AI development process.

This work will continue in 2026, and we are particularly excited about exploring how we can center communities in our communications – for example, maintaining the conversation throughout the process (not just during data collection). We also plan to develop a methodological toolkit for best practices in working with communities to design community-centric and Global South-centric AI.

AAOO is committed to creating a new paradigm of AI where communities are treated as equal partners – and MRA is a great partner to help us walk the walk and not just talk the talk. We can’t wait to see where this collaboration will lead!
